DAMA Food Co.  established in 2019 and is a subsidiary of DAMA Engineering Co. An international independent engineering company established in 2005.

DAMA's deep interest for the environment and sustainable development led them to scientific research on mycoremediation (a form of bioremediation that uses fungus-based technology to decontaminate the environment). Mushroom culture production and research in the DAMA Food  laboratory bore their fruit and DAMA Food starded produce shitake, reishi, lions mane and turkey tail mushrooms. The establishment of an organisation for the production and export of  good and healthy food, led DAMA to cooperation with  Undeks and Merkay Grup Ltd who are expert organisations producing high quality food for the market. Since 2019 DAMA Food Co. also  started growing  einkorn wheat, one of the first domesticated wheat about 10,000 BC. in Anatolia (Karaca Mountain in southeastern Turkey).
